Congratulations to this Month’s Winner! 

October’s Photo Competition invited the Africam community to celebrate the beauty and diversity of wildlife through the theme Feathers & Fur. From colourful birds and fascinating feather patterns to the many shapes, sizes and personalities of Africa’s mammals, our community captured some wonderful moments around our livestream cameras.

And she’s done it again, folks! We’re delighted to announce that Katelyn Mae is our October winner with her striking photograph titled A Piercing Gaze at the Waterhole, captured at Lentorre.

The photograph captures a beautiful close-up moment, with the subject’s intense gaze drawing you straight into the scene. There’s something captivating about those moments when an animal seems to look right back at you, offering a brief but powerful connection with the wildlife on the other side of the camera.

Katelyn has certainly become a familiar name among our Photo Competition winners, and this latest entry is another fantastic addition to her collection. Her ability to spot and capture these special moments continues to impress, and we’re thrilled to see her taking home another win!
