About the location and live stream

Welcome to the Mara River

Set in the heart of the Masai Mara, the Mara River cameras, created in partnership with Mara Conservancy and Explore.org – offer a live window into one of the wild’s most dramatic stages. Each year, the Great Wildebeest Migration sees over a million animals move between the Serengeti and the Mara, with high-stakes river crossings where survival is never guaranteed. Behind the scenes, the Mara Conservancy works to protect this ecosystem – reducing poaching, maintaining infrastructure, supporting communities, and promoting responsible eco-tourism.
