Congratulations to this Month’s Winner! 

July’s Photo Competition challenged the Africam community to capture the beauty and diversity of birdlife with the theme Wings at the Waterhole. From powerful birds of prey and elegant waders to colourful visitors making a quick stop for a drink, photographers showcased the remarkable avian moments that unfold around our livestream cameras every day.

We’re delighted to announce that Wino is our July winner with the perfectly timed image titled Catch of the Day, captured at King’s Camp. The photograph captures a split-second moment of success as a Pied Kingfisher proudly displays its freshly caught prey, creating a striking scene that perfectly embodies the theme. The impeccable timing, sharp detail, and natural storytelling combine to create an unforgettable wildlife moment, reminding us that some of nature’s most extraordinary scenes last only an instant.
