Angama Amboseli

Set within Kenya’s Kimana Sanctuary, Angama Amboseli sits in a lush Fever Tree forest beneath the iconic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Sanctuary is Kenya’s first community-owned conservancy and forms part of an important wildlife corridor connecting Amboseli National Park with the Chyulu Hills and Tsavo ecosystem. This is elephant country. Large breeding herds move through the Sanctuary, alongside some of Africa’s last remaining Super Tuskers – extraordinary elephants whose enormous tusks can weigh more than 45kg each. The area is also home to giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, warthog, lion, leopard and abundant birdlife.
