Africam’s Virtual Wildlife Photography Competition 2025 is your chance to showcase your talent! Running from February through December, this monthly contest invites photographers
of all skill levels to capture the magic of nature. Follow this step-by-step guide to participate and stand a chance to win!

Step 1: Become a Subscriber

To enter the competition, you must be an africam Premium subscriber. Sign up at africam.com to gain access to live wildlife streams and start capturing incredible moments.

Step 2: Capture Stunning Wildlife Moments

Tune into africam’s live streams and photograph breathtaking wildlife, scenic landscapes, and memorable encounters. Ensure your shots are high quality and align with the monthly theme.

Step 3: Save and Edit Your Photo

Download your chosen image from your africam photo gallery to your device. You may enhance its quality through editing, but keep modifications natural—no excessive alterations
that change the photo’s essence.

Step 4: Submit Your Entry

Send your photo via email to photocomp@africam.com within the submission period. Ensure your image meets the format requirements (JPG or PNG). Keep in mind:
Only photos taken via Africam are eligible.Screenshots from YouTube are not allowed.

Step 5: Include Your Details

When submitting your entry, provide the following details:
Your Facebook or Instagram handle (optional, but allows us to tag you if we share your
image).
A brief description of the scene or animal captured, to help judges understand the
context of your shot.
Competition Guidelines to Keep in Mind
Monthly Themes: Each month features a di erent theme (e.g., sunrises, mammals,
wildlife interactions). The theme is announced on the last day of the previous month.
Current Photos Only: You can only submit photos taken within the competition month.
Submission Deadline: Entries close at midnight (SAST) on the last day of each month

Judging Criteria
Our expert panel evaluates submissions based on:
-Creativity
-Composition
-Image Quality
-How well the image conveys the magic of nature

Winner Announcement & Prizes
The monthly winner will be announced on the 3rd of the following month.
The winner will receive:
A special edition africam mug featuring their winning photo.
Recognition on africam’s social media (Facebook & Instagram).
